"...energetic
production...feature[s] a wealth of dance, singing and acting
talent." ---Times Record News
"A remarkable production. This could be the best SYM to come along since Anything Goes." --Harvey's WebReview
This Leonard Bernstein masterpiece is a wrenching musical update
of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. West Side Story tells
the tragic tale of young lovers in the (then) modern setting of
the gang scene in New York City. An ex-member of one gang falls
in love with the sister of the leader of a rival gang, and the
story goes on from there. West Side Story features great
music such as Maria, America, Tonight, Something's Coming,
and much, much more.
