Visiting Mr. Green

by Jeff Baron

Mr. Green, an elderly retired widower wanders into traffic on New York’s Upper West Side and is almost hit by a car driven by a young corporate exec. The young man, Ross, is charged with reckless driving, and is given a community service sentence of helping Mr. Green once a week for six months. The play follows the two men’s growing and changing relationship over several months beginning with the first of these weekly visits. This charming play starts out as a comedy about two men who do not want to be in the same room together and turns into a moving story as they get to know and care about each other. Don’t miss this meaningful play.

Backdoor's Visiting Mr. Green features a dymamite cast with Mr. Green being portrayed by Richard Salassi and Ross being played by Russell Enwright.  Theses two 'old pros' make a great duo for this outstanding piece of theatre.
