The Untimely Demise of Big Earl Jessup

August
28 – September 12
Dinner Stage
Comedy ensues at Hooter Brothers Funeral Home
(formerly Captain Bill's
Seafood Palace)
when the women
in Big Earl’s life (“Drive it Like You Stole It” used cars owner)
gather at his
funeral: his widow, her best friend, his ex-wife,
his mistress (who was with him when he died),
his mother, and his sister.
“The
Untimely Demise,” directed by David Cerreta, is definitely a
crowd-pleaser...
This
is definitely an ensemble piece, and this cast of six women is
strong.
Their
comic timing is superb, and each of the actresses keeps
the pace moving quickly...
will
leave you rolling off the Backdoor parking lot laughing all the way
home.
