What's it about?
SUMMER YOUTH MUSICAL | MUSICAL COMEDY | PG-13
Cady Heron grew up on the African savanna, so she thinks she understands survival of the fittest. Then she starts high school.
Suddenly surrounded by cliques, crushes, social rules, and popularity contests she doesn't understand, Cady quickly catches the attention of The Plastics: Gretchen Wieners, Karen Smith, and their ruthless queen bee, Regina George.
When Cady's new friends convince her to infiltrate The Plastics and help bring Regina down from the inside, the plan works a little too well. Cady gets a taste of popularity. Before long, she's becoming just as mean as the girls she was supposed to be fighting.
Based on Tina Fey's hit movie, Mean Girls brings the familiar characters, comedy, and quotable moments to the stage with a high-energy Broadway score. Underneath all the pink, gossip, and teenage chaos is a story about friendship, belonging, and learning that tearing someone else down doesn't put you on top.
