At Backdoor Theatre, we dream big.
In 2024, we applied for an Impact100 Wichita Falls grant and made it to the top 3 finalists alongside Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Allred Chapel Project.
While we didn’t win the $60,000 grant, we’re proud of our efforts— from the grant application to the site visit, in-person speech, and video presentation. As a part of the grant process, we created this video to share our vision for Backdoor Theatre’s future, highlighting needed improvements in parking, lighting, and exterior beautification.
Though it's not glamorous, this project underscores our dedication to enhancing accessibility and experiences for all patrons, ensuring Backdoor Theatre remains a vibrant part of downtown Wichita Falls for the next 50 years.
We have a goal of $80,000 for the project. These funds would go toward a new parking lot, exterior lighting and signage, and beautification efforts.
