The Summer Theatre Academy (STA) at Backdoor Theatre promises two weeks of fun and learning! STA is a 10-day camp where students ages 8-13 audition, rehearse, and perform a play in just 10 days!
Students will gain valuable theatre skills, confidence, self-esteem, and a love of creativity through theatre games, acting, and a performance!
We also have opportunities for high school students to be camp counselors! They are the production team covering assignments like props, costuming, lighting design, sound design, board op, assistant directing, stage managing, and marketing!
