SUMMER 2024 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! 

The Summer Theatre Academy at Backdoor Theatre promises two weeks of fun and learning! Your child will gain valuable theatre skills, confidence, self-esteem, and a love of creativity through theatre games, acting, and performance.
This royalty-free play is part of a fantastic collection of plays for kids and teens on Drama Notebook!
About the Show: Sheriff Nottingham is up to his old tricks, squeezing money out of the peasants and trying to force Maid Marion to marry him. This comedic version of the story is a modern English pantomime, filled with farce, slapstick, and larger-than-life characters. Every cast member will have a chance to shine in this new, original melodrama!

  • Camp Dates: June 17th - June 28th
  • ​Monday - Friday from 9 AM - Noon
    • ​Drop off no earlier than 8:30 AM 
    • Pick up no later than 12:30 PM
  • Performance: Saturday, June 29th at 11 AM 
    • Students will need to arrive earlier. Time TBA, but more than likely by 9:00 AM.
  • Open to ages 8 - 13
  • Limited spacing!
  • $130/student

Students will audition, rehearse, and perform this show in just 10 days! Snacks will be provided. Bring your own water bottle.

CAMP COUNSELORS - 2024
​**COUNSELORS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN**
  • Camp Dates: June 17th - June 28th
  • ​Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Performance: Saturday, June 29th at 11 AM
  • Open to current High School students and 2024 Seniors
  • Counselors will be in one of the following roles - Assistant Director, Stage Manager, Props/Costumes, Lights, and Sound.
  • Counselors will be stipened!
