Backdoor Theatre - Theatre School
At it's heart, Backdoor Theatre is a teaching theatre.
The mission of Backdoor's Theatre School is to provide students of all ages with the means to actively explore the beauty, diversity, complexity, and challenges of the world around them through the dramatic process. We strive for our students to develop their own unique creative voice, imagination, and understanding of drama and its role in society.
We offer two programs throughout the year: Theatre School + Summer Theatre Academy. Each session is designed to give our students a rewarding experience, which ends with a public performance. Theatre School classes are offered in the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer Theatre Camp runs two weeks during the summer.
