Exciting Changes for Backdoor's Youth Programming!
We’re thrilled to announce a new direction for our youth programming! Starting Fall 2025, we’ll be replacing Theatre School with two new troupes - Educational Troupe (1st–8th grade) and Performance Troupe (ages 14–18).
WHY THE CHANGE?
You asked and we listened! Students and parents want more performance-focused opportunities and structured, engaging experiences. These new troupes are designed to inspire growth, creativity, and teamwork—onstage and behind the scenes!
WHAT’S NEW?
REGISTRATION FEE -
While we’re still finalizing details, there will be a registration fee for participation in the troupes. It will be a similar fee as our Theatre School registration and tuition waivers will still be available!
SO, WHAT'S NEXT?
Miss Jennifer and Miss Cassie, our amazing Youth Education Staff, will use the Spring 2025 semester to host workshops and outreach opportunities for students. These events will build excitement for the new troupes while continuing to provide meaningful theatre education opportunities!
This shift is about GROWTH—creating an safe space where students can thrive artistically while gaining hands-on experience both on AND off the stage. We’re excited to build this program together and can’t wait to see what the students and our Youth Education Staff accomplish!
Thank you for supporting this exciting new chapter for Backdoor’s Youth Programming!
