Did you know that SYM is why Backdoor Theatre resides at 501 Indiana? In the mid-70s, Erle White owned the building and donated it to the Wichita Falls Backdoor Players, Inc. with a promise of continuing Summer Youth Musical!
At Backdoor Theatre, we believe in nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the performing arts. That's why we're thrilled to invite current 6th - 12th Graders to join us for our annual Summer Youth Musical!
Each summer, this talented group of young performers come together to rehearse, learn, and create magic on stage under the guidance of our Youth Education Team through a fully realized production. From auditions to performances, SYM-ers will have the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and forge lifelong friendships in a supportive, safe, and inclusive environment.
